Happy kids =

Children need open-ended toys and plays that meet their creative needs as they grow and learn.

Open Ended Play

Children need materials and pretend play toys that are open-ended enough to meet their many types of imaginative play needs. They also need dramatic play toys and imaginative play materials that allow them to recreate the world around them in order to learn and grow.

Fine Motor Skills

all the best for them

Fine motor skills help prepare the child for writing and handwork such as art and crafts. Many of our toys also develop hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and problem-solving skills.

Natural Materials

for your little one

Natural toys for preschoolers can also help children develop their creativity and imagination because natural toys tend to be more open-ended than their plastic counterparts.

Most Versatile

to keep them busy

Children will engage more in play and spend hours inside forts, tents, castles, caves, reading nooks, fairy houses, stages, capes, and pretend play environments they create.

     Give the gift of PLAY!

An open-ended toy is any material or object that can be transformed, that comes to life in a child’s hands. Open-ended toys can be explored, personalized and manipulated. These toys bring the child into their play experience in deep, profound ways.

When children are young, sorting, stacking and categorizing the pieces lay the foundation for early math concepts. As they get older, they’ll practice planning, problem-solving and coordination as they use the pieces to build what they imagine. There’s no right or wrong way to play with this heuristic toy - the possibilities are endless!

About us

We are a mother and son team who believes that play is the most important work of early childhood. As parents and caregivers, we must provide imaginative play environments that allow children to discover the world in their own way and time. That is mission for my son and for every parent in my community and beyond!

Pretend, dramatic, or imaginative play is when children act out the roles and activities that they see going on around them in play. Children can also use dramatic play, and pretend play toys as a vehicle for social-emotional development.

Most children reach the first stages of dramatic play by the time they are three or four years old. However, early forms of pretend play, most often in the form of role-playing, can be spotted in toddlers as young as 18-months-old.

Waldorf play clips make pretend play much easier!
Kids can use these play clips to drape a silk or fabric over a place stand, a chair, a branch, or anything else to make an easy fort. Building a basic fort over a table or under the bunk bed with the set of 4 clips is fast and easy. In return young children will spend hours underneath the imaginary places they created.
They also make great dinosaur and robot hands.
